Quick Draft Poem headed for the trash

Blue Rhyme Blues (Draft 0)

Wherever you are blue
soon be here

for me and a tune
for the avian loon
her blue moon,
you in lieu of

Wherever you are blue
soon be here too

come here soon
out of the blue
just because
you like me to rhyme

just soon be here from
wherever you are blue

Listen

I miss we when we partnered
and how in a saunter, we wrote
the glee of sweet banter, ’cause

though

you’re more into Shakespeare
and I’m more into e.e.,
we’ll meet in a kiss, and
complete our bliss
writing poetically together

Down

Come be a blues melody…
I miss rocking you baby

  1. Ooops. I spelled loon wrong. And the referents are not clear. I have to think about what I mean. The moon belongs to the loon but nobody else? A little out of whack metaphor or whatever. Maybe I can fix it.
